A group of over 30 ACT and FACT experts with connections to over 35 countries across the globe have been meeting regularly for 2 years (2023-24) with the goal of learning from each other and sharing the wealth of information they possess. This collaboration has led to the development of GACTA with a commitment to helping clinicians everywhere learn from each other. A key goal is the establishment of this website to serve as a virtual meeting point and a clearinghouse of excellent resources.

Journal of Global Assertive Community Treatment Association
The Global Assertive Community Treatment Journal offers insights into the latest research, practices, and challenges in Assertive Community Treatment (ACT). Each issue brings together contributions that support community-based mental health care, aiming to enhance knowledge, foster collaboration, and improve outcomes for individuals with severe mental illness globally.
